Fall Salmon Bite Is Heating Up
September 25, 2018
Fishing here on the North Coast started off with a bang for me in mid September. As we neared the end of the month fishing got a little spotty. Limits of large Kings were taken through the third week. The last week tested our skills and we worked hard to scratch out a few fish a day. The Fish we had locked down seemed to dissapear over night. I ventured up river and never really seemed to find a very aggressive school of fish. This is typical for this time of year. It’s still early for the fall run where I fish and as we get further into fall more fish will stack up in the river and fishing will become more consistent.
